Introduction: First let me apologize to all of you. This is very long, but I’m very pissed off and had a lot to get off my chest. I’m also not a professional writer so cut me some slack. I’m a product, I mean a victim, of the Los Angeles Unified School District.
Why This Website: I love America! I’m proud to be an American! Growing up in the 1980’s, I remember listening to speeches by then President Ronald Reagan about the greatness of our country and its proud, but far from perfect, history. The blemishes didn’t prevent Reagan from loving America and feeling tremendous pride in our nation’s accomplishments. They didn’t prevent me from doing the same. In the 1980’s, The United States of America was, in fact, the most prosperous, most successful, most free, most open, most giving and most envied nation on Earth. Watch the video “Pink Houses” by John Cougar Mellencamp. That’s the America I see. An America that embodies freedom, goodness, hope, love, joy, compassion and endless possibility. I get chills whenever I watch this video or hear the song. I get chills whenever I see the American flag waving in the wind.
In the 1980’s, the average American per capita income was higher than that of the average citizen of any other nation. The average poor American had more than the average middle-class person in many other nations. The average American was better educated than the average citizen of any other nation. The average American had far more opportunities than the average citizen of any other nation. The average American had more freedom than the average citizen of any other nation. In other words, Americans had the highest standard of living in the world. Because of Capitalism, those opportunities existed long before the 1980’s and resulted in American inventions that improved the lives of billions. Edison and Tesla harnessed electricity. Edison also invented the first incandescent lightbulb. George Westinghouse invented the transformer which then allowed electricity to be sent over long distances. The Wright brothers created the first successful airplane in 1903. In 1914, Tony Jannus flew the first commercial flight in history. In 1947, U.S. Air Force Captain Chuck Yeager became the first person to fly faster than the speed of sound. Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. Cyrus West Field masterminded the Trans-Oceanic Cable Communications system which created the first telegraph cable from North America to Europe in 1858. Before this project, communication from Europe to North America took 10 days by boat, but with the cable it would take only a few minutes. America built, and in 1914, opened the Panama Canal. Before this, a ship sailing between New York and San Francisco had to sail around Cape Horn, a 12,000-mile trip that took 67 days. After America completed the canal, approximately 8,000 miles were eliminated from the trip stimulating unprecedented international trade, commerce and economic growth. Philo Taylor Farnsworth invented television. Ransom Eli Olds created the first modern automobile assembly line which allowed for the mass production of automobiles (And many other manufactured goods). George Eastman created the Kodak camera which made cameras portable and affordable for everyone. Chester Carlson invented the photo copier (copy machine). Gary Starkweather created the laser printer. Steve Jobs and Bill Gates invented the personal computer. Ray Tomlinson invented email. Jobs also invented the first smartphone. Vinton Cerf and Robert Kahn invented the Internet. Martin Cooper developed the first hand-held cell phone. Think about everything you do each and every day with your smartphone. Think about how hard or impossible it would be without it. America did that. Combined, the photo copier, the laser printer, personal computers, email, the internet and cell phones increased worker productivity, hence wealth, around the world. Public libraries, moving pictures (the movies), the sewing machine, radio, modern air conditioning, men on the moon, the microwave oven, home video game systems, GPS and so much more all brought to you by the United States of America. In addition, American agricultural innovations essentially feed the world while American medical innovations heal it. In other words, America improved the standard of living for billions of people.
In addition, America has always been at the forefront when it comes to freedom. Our revolution in 1776 sparked the French revolution of 1789, Haitian revolution of 1791, the Irish Rebellion of 1798 and countless other fights for liberty. Since our Declaration of Independence in 1776, there have been approximately 120 others made by different countries and different peoples. We are the oldest continuously running modern democracy. Our constitution starts with the words, “We the people”. At that time, the concept of we the people was revolutionary. In 1920, we were only the 9th nation on earth to grant women the right to vote. Prior to this, women could vote in some states. In 2015, we became the 21st nation, out of almost 200, to legalize gay marriage. Prior to this, numerous states already allowed it. On top of this, America defeated the greatest threat to freedom, opportunity and democracy the world had ever seen, The Soviet Union. The Soviet Union was a totalitarian empire that oppressed and impoverished hundreds of millions of people around the world and was also responsible for the deaths of between 40 to 65 million people. America killed this evil empire and was also heavily involved in the defeat of Nazism. We were the best of the best, the cream of the crop. No other nation even came close. The world respected, envied and admired us. How can any American not be proud of this heritage?
The answer is today’s liberal Democrat party. In stark contrast to Reagan’s positive and optimistic view of America As “The Shining City Upon The Hill”, and despite the objective reality mentioned above, the Democrats, led by liberals, leftists and Marxists, portray America as a bleak city at the bottom of a dark canyon that’s solely defined by Slavery and the Jim Crow Laws. Liberalism’s America is “white privilege”, "white supremacy", “whiteness”, cancel culture, doxing, victimhood, microaggressions, "safe spaces", "systemic racism" and all the other corrosive liberal social constructs. The fact that America improved the lives of billions is utterly ignored because our racial minorities weren’t treated equally. I never imagined while growing up in the 1980’s that the leaders of the Democrat party would replace the objective reality of my nation’s unrivaled greatness with a fabricated delusion of hatred, bigotry, grievance, fear, oppression and hopelessness. Honestly, I never conceived leaders of any nation would spew such self-hatred towards their own country. In my opinion, today’s liberal Democrat leaders should be ashamed of themselves. But as I’ve learned, they have no shame.
From Presumption of innocence to presumption of racism: In a matter of a few decades, American liberals have intentionally turned America against itself and Americans against each other. Liberalism’s identity politics (i.e. the factionalization of the American population) has created the most toxic culture the world has ever seen. Due to it, if a man disagrees or disrespects a women, the woman assumes its sexism. If a white person disagrees or disrespects a black person, the black person assumes its racism. If a Christian or jew disagrees with or disrespects a Muslim, the Muslim assumes its Islamophobia. If a straight person disagrees with or disrespects a gay person, the gay person assumes its homophobia. Due to identity politics, everyone is hypersensitive and assumes the worst possible motive for every behavior by someone that isn’t “one of them”. Liberals claim to be the paragons of unity. Does doing this create unity? Quite the contrary. Does sewing this unprecedented division stop liberal leaders from accusing Republicans of being the party of division? Quite the contrary. Despite the Democrat party’s constant attack on America, I still have hope. Samuel Adams, one of the Founding Fathers, not the beer, said the following:
“The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks…It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men. Of the latter we are in most danger at present.”
I’ve created this website to defend the country I love against the artifices of liberal Democrat leaders. Identity politics is arguably liberalism’s most potent artifice. Having written that, I feel the need to state for the record that I’m both gay and Jewish. I was also born and raised in Los Angeles, a liberal Democrat stronghold. Why, you may wonder, would a gay Jew from LA create a website attacking Liberalism? Afterall, most gay people, most Jewish people and most Angelenos are liberal Democrats. The reason is three-fold: The first has already been touched upon: in my opinion, the Democrat party is waging a war against America, the country that I love. I’m writing this to defend my country. The second is self-preservation: In addition to being gay and Jewish, I’m also a white American male. I’ve come to realize, over the last few years in particular, that I have much more to fear from liberal democrats as a white American man, then I do from conservative Republicans as a gay Jew. In fact, it’s not even close. As you read through my website, you'll realize this truth: Liberal democrat leaders have turned every American institution against white American men. The third is freedom. Joe Biden said the following to black radio host, Charlamagne tha God, while campaigning for the presidency in 2020. “Well I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black." Liberal Democrats actually believe that what you are mandates how you must think and vote. Well, unlike the liberal Democrat tyrants who believe they own my vote because I’m gay and Jewish, I believe in freedom. First and foremost, I’m a proud American. I’m a free man and free to vote for whomever I choose. So are you.
