Safe Spaces

“Safe Spaces” are yet another invention of the “tolerant” liberal democrat leaders.  They didn’t exist when I was growing up in the 1980’s.  Merriam-Webster defines a safe space as “a place (as on a college campus) intended to be free of bias, conflict, criticism, or potentially threatening actions, ideas, or conversations.”  Let me remind you of the definition of tolerance: “showing willingness to allow the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with”.  Is creating a place intended to be free of potentially “threatening” ideas or conversations consistent with showing a willingness to allow the existence of different opinions?  Of course not. Since when did ideas or conversations become a threat in America?  A foundational principle of America is freedom of speech and expression.    Also, who decides what ideas and conversations are a threat?  We know the answer to that. It’s the liberal Democrat leadership.  And what ideas or conversations do you suppose "safe spaces" will be free of?   They literally created "safe spaces" to prevent their "victim groups" from being exposed to conservative ideas.  Clever, isn't it.

On the North Carolina State University website, a "safe space" is defined as, " a place or environment in which a person or category of people can feel confident that they will not be exposed to discrimination, criticism, harassment or any other emotional or physical harm...A safe space is typically meant for "marginalized populations" to have a space that is conducive to their physical well-being.  It can also be used to voice common narratives throughout the group."  Can you believe this shit?  

Aren't universities supposed to prepare young people for real life?  In real life, people criticize.  In real life, people say insensitive things.  In real life, people harass and discriminate.  American students are being told they're entitled to have places where their feelings won't be hurt (emotionally harmed).  Is it any wonder that our young people can't cope with life?  

Is it any wonder that so many young people hate America?  Implied in this definition is the idea that America is so bigoted that any person who isn't a white heterosexual male needs places to be protected from the country itself.  By the way, they refer to places where people are allowed to express their opinions and hash out their differences as "brave places".  I guess I missed the liberal memo stating it requires courage to express an opinion.  I just wrote a 70+ page essay expressing my opinion.  I'm fricken Thor for crying out loud!  

Do liberal Democrats really want safe spaces or do they just want spaces where Republican opinions are prohibited?  It’s the latter folks. While liberals are protecting the feelings of their overly sensitive victim groups, they’re simultaneously defunding the police, emptying prisons, surrendering the border, eliminating the right to bear arms and expanding homeless encampments of mentally ill, drug addicted violent criminals in our major cities.  So much for wanting “safe spaces”.  How lipocritical is that?

When intolerant, close-minded liberal "safe spaces" aren't available to shelter "marginalized" liberal Democrats, liberal leaders resort to more oppressive "hate speech" laws.

May 3, 2024:  Liberal leaders don't want "safe spaces" for jews.   A pro-palestinian activist on the liberal-controlled Stanford University campus wore a headband that looked similar to the ones worn by Hamas terrorist fighters.  On October 7, 2023, those Hamas fighters  waged the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust — slaughtering babies, raping women, burning whole families alive, and taking hundreds of innocent civilians hostage.  The headband is a symbol of Jewish hate.  I'm sure Jewish students felt safe with that guy on campus.  Fucking lipocrits.  

April 26, 2024:   Liberal leaders don't want "safe spaces" for jews. A liberal anti-Israeli protester was photographed at George Washington University with a sign calling for the “final solution,” the Nazi plan to exterminate all Jews.  The unidentified man was seen on the Washington, DC, campus carrying a huge Palestinian flag — and the sign with the expression Adolf Hitler used to sum up his plan for the “annihilation of the Jews.”  So, according to modern liberalism, you can't call a transwoman he or him, can't call a black the N word and can't call an illegal alien an illegal alien.  But, calling for the annihilation of jews is allowed.  I'm Jewish.  Fuck you liberals!

October 15, 2021:  Could you imagine there being a place on a college campus where women weren't permitted to work because a man claimed to fear women?  How would a woman feel if male college students refused to allow a women in their dorm to fix a radiator and instead demanded a man?  What would happen if students at a college refused to allow a transgendered plumber fix a leak?  We know the answer to that.  Why then is it ok for liberal transgender college students to complain about men working in a "safe space"? 

May 23, 2021:  I guess "safe spaces" are getting a  bad wrap, so as usual, liberals just come up with a new name for a bad thing.  Enter "Affinity Spaces".  A Massachussets school district created an "affinity space where white students weren't allowed.  This, of course, was done by the school district's office of diversity, equity and inclusion.  How inclusive of them.   “It’s important to note that affinity spaces are not discriminatory,”...“Hosting affinity spaces...enhances their sense of belonging.”  This was actually written by the school leaders who created this particular "affinity space".  Do you think having spaces where white kids are prohibited enhances a white child's sense of belonging?  This is how dimented and warped liberal ideology has become.
